Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport [PHX]

Nursing Mothers Room:

  • Locations:

    • Pretty much each location before and after security has at least one option for nursing. They are well signed and easy to access. Locations in pictures are from near gate B15 & terminal A.

    • Newly renovated Terminal E has very lovely nursing rooms, basic but new and clean. The restrooms in terminal E however are very tight to navigate and I’d suggest leaving the stroller outside if able.

  • Access:

    • Mamava: Indicator on the door shows if it is in use.

    • Other Rooms: Indicator shows if it is occupied or not.

  • Set-up:

    • Mamava: Standard set-up with two bench seats, a locking door, mirror and table. My knee swelled up so I was able to elevate it in this pod while I pumped which made the next flight much better.

    • Other Rooms: These are basic and clean. There is a table, chair, sink and mirror with a trash bin. It’s not the most comfortable if you are nursing, but it does the trick and works great if you’re pumping. You can clean up and go. One note, there is no where to change baby-they force you to go the bathroom, which is actually a huge hassle to pack up and move after nursing. If you are pumping, the room is sufficient, if nursing, I’d recommend trying to use the Mamava so you can take care of everything baby needs in one spot.
