Traveling is amazing. Kids are amazing. Traveling with kids does not always feel amazing, it can be challenging, exhausting and hubling. As a long-time traveler, my approach has changed since becoming a parent and I’ve found that with planning and knowledge, trips with my girls are easy and amazing. #BossMomTravel will hopefully make your next adventure one you’ll remember (in a good way!).
FEATURED DESTINATION
We adore Lake Tahoe for family time and have been going for nearly two decades with, and without kids.
Lodging: Several properties right on the lake have 1 bedroom set-ups with kitchens which makes meals much easier at night, and also gives some space for littles to nape and sleep. There are several public beaches, we love (and actually got married at) Round Hill Pines. It has a tiny parking lot so it fills up very quickly, meaning the beach itself often isn’t as crowded but you have to get there early.
